With over 25 years of media planning and buying experience, Helene is skilled in the art of negotiation and strategic media planning and buying. Helene brings her clients media plans and finished media buys that are not only smart and efficient, but also loaded with added value. Helene’s experience is unique in that it comes from “both sides of the desk” consisting of media planning and buying as well as selling at a radio station.
Helene has worked in a range of categories throughout her career including: Government, restaurants, retail, automotive, service industries, and education, with clients ranging from Coca-Cola to Wendy’s Restaurants (in 13 markets across the country, including Washington, DC), to Ledo Pizza and Shady Grove Fertility.
Helene’s media career began in local Baltimore and DC based advertising agencies working on a range of categories. Her experience also includes a five year stint on the client side working for The Coca-Cola Company in the Mid Atlantic region as media director overseeing all media buys for the Mid-Atlantic area as well as marketing plans for such partners as The Orioles, Hershey Park, Black Family Reunion and George Mason University.
Helene also worked on the “other side” and sold radio advertising for WWDC-FM and WIHT-FM, Clear Channel Radio Stations in Washington, DC which gave her special knowledge into the sales world and made her patient when receiving some information from account execs, but super inpatient when waiting for other information, knowing what is quick to get and what takes longer.
Helene graduated from Emerson College with a BS degree in Mass Communications and a concentration in Broadcast Journalism. Living up in Boston for 4 years did not change her loyalties and she still will always root for the O’s and the Ravens.
